Dail to debate McCreevy no confidence motion

The Dail is to debate a Fine Gael motion of no confidence in Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy later today.

The motion - expected to be supported by the Labour Party, the Green Party and Sinn Fein - accuses Mr McCreevy of incompetence and of mishandling Ireland's public finances in the last two years.
