Second body found in Clonmel

Gardai in Co Tipperary are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a second man near Clonmel this morning.

The man's body was found in a car at Boola Bridge, on the Rathcormac to Clonmel road, shortly after 9am today.

No further details are available, but gardai said the death is not linked to the discovery of another body in the town earlier this morning.

In that incident, a 21-year-old man was found murdered on waste ground at the rear of St Luke's Hospital at around 3am.
