Priests still practising despite complaints

Dr Philip Boyce, the Bishop of Raphoe in Co Donegal, has admitted that some priests who are the subject of complaints from the public are still serving in his diocese.

Dr Boyce made the revelation in response to last night's BBC documentary about the church's handling of the Fr Eugene Greene affair.

When asked why the priests in question were not removed from office, he said because the complaints against them are still being processed.
