A woman is in hospital this morning after being stabbed in the Cavan Rd area of Kells, Co Meath, shortly after midnight.

A woman is in hospital this morning after being stabbed in the Cavan Rd area of Kells, Co Meath, shortly after midnight.

The woman was taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan shortly after the incident and was moved to the Mater Hospital in Dublin this morning.
