Scores of people have been evacuated from Belfast's city centre following a claim to a local radio station purportedly from the Continuity IRA that they left a bomb in the city's Bedford Street.
The call was received at 10.10am this morning. The caller claimed the device would go off in 35 minutes.
Meanwhile, yards away from the site of this security alert, a suspicious vehicle is being investigated on adjoining Franklin Street. Both streets have been sealed off and police are investigating.
