Labour seek amendments to list of designated sporting events

The Labour Party has said it will seek to amend the list of designated sports events when it comes before the Dail.

Communications spokesman Eamonn Gilmore has said that the list Minister Ahern has produced will end up with far more of our sporting events being sold off to pay television.
