Greens, SF and Independents to form new group

The Greens, Sinn Fein and the Independents are forming a new group, which could make them the second largest opposition alliance in the Dail.

The move would mean that they would be allowed more Dail time and enable them to ask direct questions to the Taoiseach.

It does not mean they would have to share policies.

The Dail returns today for the first time since the publication of the Flood report.
