A summit to address the homeless crisis will take place tomorrow after an outpouring of grief over the death of Jonathan Corrie just metres from Leinster House. 

The Ceann Comhairle of the Dáil, John O’Donoghue, became the latest member of the Government to forfeit 10% of his salary this afternoon.

The Greens, Sinn Fein and the Independents are forming a new group, which could make them the second largest opposition alliance in the Dail.

The Dail last night voted by 79 votes to 72 to back a Government motion calling on Liam Lawlor to resign his Dublin West seat if he fails to co-operate with the Flood Tribunal.
