Ulster Unionists today asked Tony Blair to move a motion in the Northern Ireland Assembly to exclude Sinn Fein from the Executive, said David Trimble after a meeting at 10 Downing Street.

If there was no such motion by next Tuesday, the Ulster Unionists would have ``no alternative'' but to leave the Executive, said Mr Trimble.
