Blair 'determined to solve NI deadlock

Ulster’s Good Friday Agreement can only be made to work if everyone accepts its 'full principles' including an end to violence, British prime minister Tony Blair said today.

He acknowledged the latest crisis was 'a very serious situation' but said he remained 'absolutely determined' to find a way through the deadlock.
