Gardai appeal for hit-and-run witnesses

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Co Kildare early today.

A male pedestrian was seriously injured in the incident in Leixlip.

The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at around 3am and is now being treated at Blanchardstown Hospital in north Dublin.
