Dublin firm cuts 60 jobs

A Dublin-based firm is to cut 60 jobs at its Irish operation with a possible further 80 positions to be lost in the coming months.

SkillSoft says most job cuts are voluntary redundancies in the product development organisation.

The IT company also says it is cutting approximately 60 to 80 additional jobs, mostly through voluntary redundancies, phased over the next several months.

The company claims the Irish losses do not represent any change in its long-term commitment to locate its corporate headquarters in Ireland.
