Nike recalls infant clothing

Nike has recalled thousands of infant size T-shirts amid concern a potential fault could cause a child to choke.

The company says press studs on the left shoulder of the garment may come off.

A spokesman says there have been no incidents reported.

As a precaution it has advised anyone who bought one of the Miz short sleeve V-neck T-shirts, in either green, blue or red, and with the number 463388 on an inside label, to return it to the store for a refund.

The T-shirt affected has been on sale in major sports shops and department stores across Europe since January this year.

Nike say about 3,700 have been sold in Ireland and the UK.
