Taoiseach to meet Blair to move peace process

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, and British Prime Minister Tony Blair are due to meet next week to discuss how the save the Irish peace process in the face of growing unionist opposition.

Both leaders have been forced to turn their attentions to the North yet again after the Ulster Unionist Party’s latest ultimatum to Sinn Fein and the IRA.
