Harney admits Burke should not have been appointed as Minister

Tanaiste Mary Harney said today that in the light of the Flood Report, it is obvious Ray Burke should not have been appointed as a Government Minister.

Speaking in Belfast Harney said she had not opposed the appointment because the Taoiseach assured her there was no evidence against Mr Burke.
