Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams today denied fresh allegations that he was a senior member of the IRA.

The West Belfast MP said at Stormont that he had sought legal advice about a new book by journalist Ed Moloney which claims Mr Adams was involved in setting up an IRA unit which murdered and secretly buried at least nine people in the 1970s.
