Thousands raised through Asian Gaelic games
Thousands of euro has been raised for charities at the third Asian Gaelic games.
Irish expatriates from all over the east have been competing in tournaments in Thailand.
President Mary McAleese presented the ladies' winners their trophy. The winning team were from Japan.
The President is in the process of touring Thailand and Malaysia.
She is joined on the trip by the Minister for Education along with several officials from the Department of Taoiseach and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
