Hanafin doesn’t believe Mara will direct future campaigns

The Government chief whip, Mary Hanafin believes that PJ Mara will not be Director of Elections ever again for Fianna Fail.

The former Government press secretary resigned as Director of Elections for Fianna Fail in their Nice Treaty campaign.

Mr Mara resigned as director of the Fianna Fail Nice Treaty campaign after Justice Fergus Flood ruled that he obstructed the work of the planning and payments Tribunal.

Mary Hanafin says the party will work all-out for ‘Yes’ vote but doesn’t think PJ Mara will direct future election campaigns.
