The North Eastern Health Board has confirmed plans to cut 83 jobs this year in an effort to control budget over-runs.

The North Eastern Health Board has confirmed plans to cut 83 jobs this year in an effort to control budget over-runs.

The board is currently almost €11m, or 4%, over budget and has blamed the situation on population growth in the north-east over the last eight years.
