Anti-Globalisation protest continues peacefully

Hundreds of people are reported to be attending an anti-globalisation rally in Dublin city centre.

Hundreds of people are reported to be attending an anti-globalisation rally in Dublin city centre.

Gardai have mounted a heavy security operation over fears that protestors may cause trouble on the day of the All-Ireland final.

There have been no reports of any incidents or clashing with security officers.

The group met at St Stephen’s Green shopping centre at 2.30pm and made their way to Baggot Street where a street party was held.
