Minister wants end to Curragh problem

The Minister for Defence Michael Smith says that the problem with over-holders at the Curragh camp has been allowed to prevail for too long.

The announcement comes after news that the Department of Defence has served notice on 54 families living in the army housing.

The Department say that they need the area to house military personnel. The Minister argues that those housed there must now foot their own bills.
