Nuclear waste cargo on way to Sellafield

The controversial cargo of nuclear waste at the centre of a series protests on the Irish Sea is making its way back to Sellafield by train.

The slow-moving train has left Barrow-in-Furness under armed police escort.

The waste was returned to Britain after Japanese authorities would not accept the consignment because of falsified safety documents.
