Europe Forum to be dominated by Nice

The chairman of the National Forum on Europe has said he expects the group’s meetings to be dominated by the Nice Treaty debate between now and the upcoming referendum.

The chairman of the National Forum on Europe has said he expects the group’s meetings to be dominated by the Nice Treaty debate between now and the upcoming referendum.

Senator Maurice Hayes said that although the forum was set up to examine Ireland’s broader future in Europe, he is not surprised that so much time is being spent on arguments over Nice.

The forum’s national tour moves to Cork tonight.
