Donegal garda launches appeal to suspension
One of the gardai suspended following a ruling that freed Donegal night club owner, Frank Shortt, has begun a legal challenge to her suspension in the High Court.
The Court of Criminal Appeal had declared a miscarriage of justice in the case of Mr Shortt in July.
He had spent 3 years in jail after being wrongly convicted of allowing his premises to be used for the sale of drugs.
