Customs officials have seized an illegal oil-laundering facility and 25,000 litres of “washed” diesel in Dromad, Co Louth.

Customs officials have seized an illegal oil-laundering facility and 25,000 litres of “washed” diesel in Dromad, Co Louth.

The mobile facility, which was mounted on a trailer, was apparently used to wash the dye from industrial diesel so it could be resold as the more expensive clear diesel.
