Hospital consultants slam treatment fund cutback

The Irish Hospital Consultants Association has slammed the Government’s decision to withdraw €15m from the fund established to reduce hospital waiting lists.

In a statement released today, the association condemned the latest health service cutback "in the strongest possible terms".
