Three die in overnight accidents

Three people have died in two separate accidents overnight.

Two men died following a head-on collision in Co Offaly early today. The accident occurred on the Tullamore to Clara road around 12.30am today.

The men died at the scene. Gardai are not releasing their names until all relatives have been informed.

Earlier, a 10-year-old boy died in an accident in Co Down.

Matthew Orr was killed when he was knocked down in the Hillsborough are of Co Down last night. The accident happened at around 9.30pm.
