IMO suspends junior doctors’ strike

The Irish Medical Organisation has agreed to suspend the junior doctors’ strike action at hospitals in Waterford and Tullamore until September 16.

The Irish Medical Organisation has agreed to suspend the junior doctors’ strike action at hospitals in Waterford and Tullamore until September 16.

The suspension follows a request from the Labour Relations Commission, which also convinced the South Eastern Health Board to withdraw the disputed rosters which led to the strike.
