Gardai and PSNI investigate punishment attack

A 16-year-old boy was abducted from his home in Strabane, County Tyrone, by a gang of armed and masked men early today.

He was driven across the border to Ballindrait in Lifford, Co Donegal, before being beaten up. Police in the North say the assault bears all the hallmarks of a paramilitary-style attack.
