Portlaoise doctors protest to support striking colleagues

Doctors in Portlaoise General hospital have held protests this lunch time in support of striking colleagues in Tullamore and Waterford.

Almost 25 doctors took the action during their lunch break outside the gates of the hospital.

They are also angry at the imposition of rosters in Portlaoise, which they say are similar to those at the centre of the disputes in Tullamore and Waterford.
