IMO welcomes ICTU plea
The Irish Medical Organisation has welcomed calls from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions for both sides in the junior doctors' dispute to return to talks at the Labour Relations Commission.
Doctors in Waterford and Tullamore mounted strike action after hospital management implemented new rosters that reduced the amount of hours they spend in training.
The action in Tullamore is due to end today, but the strike in Waterford is indefinite.
