Applications for computer courses fall by 50%

The number of people applying for third-level computer courses has fallen by more than 50%, according to reports this morning.

Applications for computer courses have fallen from more than 10,000 last year to just more than 5,000 this year, a move that could lead to a dramatic reduction in the points needed for such courses.
