FG urges Govt to help ‘crisis-hit’ farmers

Fine Gael has called on Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh to devise a targeted plan to assist farmers affected by recent bad weather.

Party spokesman Billy Timmins has claimed that the Irish agriculture industry is facing its worst crisis in years due to the adverse weather and falling prices for farm produce.
