The Government is to provide an extra 6,000 further education places this year, according to a statement from the Department of Education.

The Government is to provide an extra 6,000 further education places this year, according to a statement from the Department of Education.

The extra places, which will focus on Junior and Leaving Cert, as well as literacy programmes, are specifically aimed at young people and adults who left school before completing their exams.
