Passports for sale scheme abolished

The committee set up to review the controversial passports for sale scheme has recommended that it should not be introduced.

The Minister for Justice Michael McDowell is indicating that he will back the review groups stance by saying that while he has no plans to reintroduce the scheme he agrees with the recommendation to keep his options open.
