Commissioner Byrne not ruling out garda dismissals

Garda Commissioner Pat Byrne has not ruled out the dismissal of members of the Garda Siochana following the miscarriage of justice certificate awarded to Frank Shortt this week.

Two members of the force were suspended yesterday, and Commissioner Byrne says that following due process, dismissals may take place.
