Cowen condemns Derry killing
Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen has condemned the killing of a construction worker in an explosion at a British Territorial Army base in Derry this morning.
Mr Cowen said the killing was brutal and callous and he described those who planted the bomb as cold-blooded.
He said they are enemies of democracy and peace.
Fifty one-year-old David Caldwell died in hospital after suffering severe injuries when he picked up a device left near Caw Camp on Limavady Road in Derry.
