Best out of intensive care today

Manchester United legend George Best is moving out of intensive care after making good progress following his liver transplant operation, hospital officials said today.

The former Old Trafford and Northern Ireland star is to move to a specialist liver ward at the Cromwell Hospital, west London, this morning after eight hours of life-saving surgery on Tuesday.
