Irish Times editor stepping down

The editor of the Irish Times, Conor Brady, is to step down after 16 years in the post.

Announcing his decision to staff today, Mr Brady said that following the completion of the restructuring programme, it was now time for the newspaper to move to its next phase of success and development.
