Tanaiste: IDA to search for jobs to replace Elan

Tanaiste Mary Harney has asked FAS and the IDA to immediately begin working with Elan, with a view to establishing what retraining might be required to help the staff who will lose their jobs over the coming months.

She says that she is deeply disappointed at the announcement of job losses at Elan.
