GRA present award to Empey

The Garda Representative Association has presented a bronze bust of a uniformed Garda to Church of Ireland Archbishop Walton Empey.

The gesture is a tribute to Dr Empey's support for the Gardaí.

The bronze statuette is normally reserved for retiring members of the force. Dr Empey is retiring as Archbishop of Dublin and Glendalough this Sunday after six years in the position.
