Defence Minister Michael Smith has insisted that he will not order the closure of any army barracks in an effort to cut back on spending by his Department.

Speaking during a visit to Sarajevo, Mr Smith refused to reveal which cutbacks he intends to introduce, but insisted he will not sell off any barracks.
