FAI confident about inquiry
Officials have announced at the FAI AGM that they are confident about the independent review into the Saipan affair.
Speaking this morning, General Secretary Brendan Menton stated that nobody could have foreseen the crises that was going to affect the Irish camp.
He said that because of this, the FAI did not have the sufficient manpower to deal adequately with the situation.
However, Mr. Menton went on to express his confidence about the inquiry into the football fiasco during the world cup.
He maintained that the independent review would demonstrate that the hotel and training facilities for the players during the tournament were excellent.
