Over 7,000 people successful in Social Welfare appeals

Over 7,000 people successfully appealed decisions by the Department of Social Welfare on their entitlements last year.

The Annual report of the Appeals office, published this lunchtime, also shows a fall in the number of appeals of almost 2,000.
