Two police officers have escaped injury in a suspected dissident republican bomb attack in Downpatrick, Co Down.

Two police officers have escaped injury in a suspected dissident republican bomb attack in Downpatrick, Co Down.

The pair were travelling along the Killough Road at around 2am when an explosive device hit their car.
