Two seriously injured in Cork road accident

Two people have been seriously injured in an accident involving a motorcycle and an articulated lorry on the Commons Road in Cork city.

The accident happened at around 3pm.

The two injured people are being treated in Cork University Hospital, where their condition is described as serious.
