South Dublin armed raid fails

There has been another attempt at an armed raid on a security van in Dublin.

There has been another attempt at an armed raid on a security van in Dublin.

At 9.10am a man approached security staff who were delivering cash to an ATM on Kylemore Road on the south side of the city.

However, his attempt was unsuccessful and no cash was taken and nobody was injured.

Garda air support is now helping in the search for the raider. The raid attempt is the third in a week.
