A man in his 30s has died after being stabbed in a pub in the north of Dublin city centre last night.

The incident happened in the Plough Bar on Marlbrough Street at around 11.45pm.

The stabbing was apparently sparked when a customer was thrown out of the pub following a row.

A short time later, he returned to the premises and stabbed another customer in the body.

A second man was also injured.

Nobody was arrested following the incident and Gardai are withholding the dead man’s name until all next of kin are informed.
