An interim board has been appointed to put a new National Tourism development authority in place. It was announced by the Minister for Arts, Sports and Tourism, John O’Donoghue.

The new Authority will bring together the current functions of Bord Failte and CERT. The tourism market is faced with uncertainty following the BSE crisis and the fall out of September 11th.
