Hospital waiting lists drop

Patients awaiting treatment in hospital were given good news today with the announcement that waiting lists have fallen by 5% nationally. The Department of Health released the figures last night.

It is estimated that numbers waiting for treatment went down by 1,021 in the first quarter of this year.
